If you want the Apple experience with low cost budget then go for the basic iMac 21.5 inch. there is not much difference between the processor speed of the higher version of iMac 21.5 considering normal date today in use. If you are a heavy user with lot of video editing kind of stuff then go for the higher version of iMac 21.5 inch. if you don't have any budget issues I always recommend the 5K retina display 27 inch iMac which is the best display available in the market now. For professional video editing stuff this is the best desktop machine available now. But if you are a regular user I don't prefer going for the higher versions.
